As an Architectural Designer, Skyler brings to Svigals + Partners a desire to create designs that resonate with their users and deliver an experience in their daily lives. While serving as a graduate assistant at Roger Williams University and junior architect at previous firms, Skyler became well-versed in multiple design languages, this versatility in portraying ideas allows him to seamlessly communicate with clients to actualize their vision.

Prior to joining our team, Skyler had been impressed with the projects S+P had completed, but after learning about our incorporation of community involvement in the process, he knew it was where he wanted to work. In the time since, Skyler has proven to be a valuable asset: contributing to a variety of projects, such as the Residences on Ashmun, Yale Temple 40, and most recently the MIT Hobby Shop.

From an early age, Skylar was drawn to creative activities and making things for others. While he had originally assumed he would become an artist or chef, drawing his first house in a high school CAD course convinced him that architecture was a perfect fit. To this day it is his love of making that drives him to produce designs that bring communities together and make their users feel represented by the buildings they inhabit.
