Oddly enough conflict is an essential ingredient of collaboration. Until we push up against each other, we don’t know where we stand. Conflict helps establish the starting point of a conversation and invites a full spectrum of possibilities.

Besides being a lonely proposition, this ego-centric attitude (which we all possess undeniably) separates us from two sources of influence; one deeper within us and one that surrounds us. And somehow we intuitively know this.
